Dale and Betsy Sherrow opened the Seattle Caviar Company in 1990. Both Betsy and Dale are Seattle natives. They developed an appreciation for caviar through travel in Europe and decided that a thriving metropolis like Seattle, Washington was ready for the elegance and mystique of the world's finest Caviar.
Seattle Caviar Company's first customers were The Four Seasons Hotel and Rover's restaurant. Through their support the company's
wholesale business has grown, the mail-order service has flourished, and an appreciation for caviar in Seattle has developed.
The Seattle Caviar Company now supplies the finest restaurants, caterers, and retailers throughout the Pacific Northwest.
On May 1, 1997 Seattle Caviar Company opened the first retail caviar house in the history of Seattle.
The store is located at 2922 Eastlake Avenue East and carries a full compliment of Caspian Sea and domestic caviar. Every customer and visitor to our shop is welcome to taste, for a small fee, the Caspian Sea and domestic caviars.
