Celebrate Mom with Beads & Bubbles

We invite you to join us as we kick-off Mother’s Day weekend with caviar and pink bubbles! We’ll be pouring an exquisite Italian sparkling wine, and serving three delicious ‘bites’ featuring caviar.

Our featured sparkling wine, the Ettore Germano ‘Rosanna’ Brut Rosé, is named after the winemaker, Sergio’s, Mother. This delicious classic method sparkling wine is made from early harvested Nebbiolo in the Italian region Piedmont. The grapes are picked early and left on the skins for a short time, giving the wine a beautiful soft pink color.

Caviar Tastings

We are happy to offer caviar tastings any time during business hours, on a first-come first-served basis. Every Thursday evening is our tasting ‘happy hour,’ $5 off tastings, and the only evening that we stay open a bit later, until 7 p.m.

You’ll enjoy one pour of our featured champagne or two pours of our featured sparkling wine, a taste of each variety of caviar available (six to eight) plated on mother-of-pearl spoons, as well as a featured amuse-bouche. Amuse-bouche is a French expression which, when translated, means “to amuse the mouth.” We welcome our guests to stop by whenever they like, allowing for at least a half hour for the tasting. Due to the intimate nature of our shop, we cannot take reservations.

Tribaut Champagne & Caviar Tasting

Please join us for an evening of Beads & Bubbles! Our Unique Wine Co. representative will be here to introduce three exquisite new champagnes from the Tribaut Schloesser house.

Champagne Tribaut Schloesser was founded in 1929 in the heart of the Champagne region, in Romery. For four generations the Tribaut Family has maintained their passion and expertise to produce impressively delicate and refined Champagnes. Their vineyards are situated in the best location between the Montage de Reims and the Marne Valley, very close to Epernay, Champagne. Tribaut’s vineyards are made up of 30% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, and 30% Pinot Meunier. In their winery and cellars, tradition and technological progress are married to ensure the highest quality Champagnes.

In addition to fabulous bubbles, you’ll enjoy tastes of seven types of caviar, followed by an amuse-bouche.

Caviar & Cava

Please join us for an evening of Caviar & Cava! On Thursday, August 25th from 5:00 to 7:00, Eric Stone of Vinea Imports will join us at our shop to introduce two wonderful Cavas from the Jané Ventura winery located in the Penedès region of Spain. Jané Ventura was founded in 1914 and since then they have taken great care and pride in producing exquisite wines, utilizing organic and artisanal production methods.

You’ll enjoy tastes of Jané Ventura Brut Reserva Nature Cava de la Musica 2012, and Jané Ventura Brut Reserva Rosé Cava de la Musica 2011, paired with caviar and Spanish tapas.

Seattle Caviar can make those wishes come true and dreams a reality with our wide range of sustainable caviar and bubbles from near and far! Here are a couple of suggestions for National Caviar Day.

Since it is summer, we never miss a chance to whip up some of Ina Garten’s delicious caviar dip. Such a great way to be even naughtier with potato chips! Paddlefish Caviar, Ikura and Golden Whitefish caviar are a lovely combination on mini caviar pies that never fail to impress. If you are taking a more traditional route with classic caviar service, our house made blini are available and new Israeli Osetra just arrived! This Caviar Cuvée bottle is a Treveri Cellars “blanc de blancs” brut sparkling wine crafted in the méthode champenoise. Smooth, complex and crisp with a fresh and dry finish that pairs beautifully with caviar.

To celebrate this exciting new venture, we invite you to join us for a “Beads & Bubbles” party! Christian Grieb from Treveri will be joining us. Along with bubbles, we will be serving a variety of caviar hors d’oeuvres.

Treveri Cellars is a sparkling wine house located in the Columbia Valley. Since opening in 2010, their wines have been served at White House State Department receptions and the James Beard Foundation in New York.
